Special Procedures Area Nurse 3/2011-Present. Managed care of patients before and after heart catheterizations, image-guided biopsies, and interventional radiological procedures. Performs moderate sedation for patients during cardioversion and transesophageal echocardiograms. Recovers patients after procedures using extensive assessment and monitoring skills.
Intravenous Therapy Nurse 9/2009-3/2011 Managed care of outpatient infusion patients. Started difficult IVs throughout the hospital with use of ultrasound throughout the departments of the hospital.
